Prior to acquisition of the site King Welsh were invited to carry out a feasibility exercise to inform our client as to site development potential, costs and risk.
We were subsequently appointed to obtain planning consent. Following grant of consent we were further instructed to design, procure and manage the development on site.
The key challenges on this site were the steep topography, busy trading estate frontage/road access and buried storm attenuation tank that needed to be maintained during construction. The project was delivered on time and on budget. Tavistock Hire Centre have now been successfully operating from this facility for three years.
