Various Projects

King Welsh and Individual members of our team have worked with Plymouth University for many years. We have delivered a wide range of consultancy services in respect of a varied range of projects across the campus.

A selection of projects delivered by members of our team include:

• Design, procurement and Implementation of the Davy project, which involved the refurbishment of stairwells and WC facilities on each floor of an eight-storey building whilst in operation. Contract Value £250k
• Condition surveys of external facades and remedial works budget costing, in respect of the majority of the Universities varied portfolio of buildings, on the main campus. The data was required to site to feed into the Universities overall maintenance planning strategy.
• A varied range of feasibility studies on the main campus which involved space planning, conceptual design and budget costing as required to determine the viability of departmental re-organisation, expansion or re-location
• Our most recent commission comprises the design, procurement and Implementation of all elements of the Simulated Dental Learning Environment project. This was a new training facility on the campus, King Welsh designed and managed all elements of this project.  Contract value £220k
